Qatar Airways (QR) resumes Doha (DOH) - London Gatwick (LGW) service

Qatar Airways has officially resumed service between Doha and London Gatwick following the Middle East conflict, marking a notable strengthening of the carrier’s presence in the UK market. The reinstated route not only adds another London option, but also creates a more flexible air bridge between the Gulf and one of Europe’s most dynamic metropolitan centers.

The return of the service carries clear strategic significance, linking Doha—an ever-expanding global hub—with London, Europe’s leading center for finance, commerce and culture. For Qatar Airways, the move deepens network coverage between the Middle East and the United Kingdom while broadening convenient onward connectivity for passengers traveling from Asia, Africa and Oceania to the British capital. In the initial phase, the airline is operating multiple weekly flights with the Airbus A350-900, before increasing to daily frequency from mid-June using the Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
